Lead Trainer: David TobackMA
David has nearly 16 years of experience working in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. He has worked both at the provider level and the state level as a training and project manager for GA Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). David has experience in transition initiatives for those moving from institutional to community settings and also worked as a SIS interviewer for many years. He is a certified Person Centered Thinking Trainer by The Learning Community for Person-Centered Practices. He is currently the Lead Southeast Service Representative for IntellectAbility.
Dawne Hayward
Dawne Hayward, RN CM/DN has worked in the healthcare profession since 1965. She has held certifications in gerontology, Director of Nursing Administration/LTC, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Case Manager/Delegating Nurse with the Developmental Disabilities Administration of Maryland. She received a Citation from the Maryland BON for her committee work developing the Delegating Nurse and Certified Medication Technician training programs. Dawne has worked for persons with IDD for 15 years in a variety of settings. She has used the HRST in paper form for many years and has been a certified reviewer since 2016. Dawne joined HRS, Inc. in August 2019 as a Client Services Representative.
Sherry Neal
RN-BC, CDDN
Sherry Neal, RN-BC, CDDN has worked in the healthcare profession since 1972. She is board certified in 2 nursing specialties – Gerontology and Developmental Disabilities and is also an NTG Affiliated Regional Trainer for Dementia Capable Care for Adults with IDD and Dementia. Sherry has worked over 25 years with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and 35 years with the geriatric population. Sherry was very involved with IDD nursing in Illinois prior to moving to Florida and was a master nurse trainer for the state of Illinois for delegation of medication in community settings. She has experience in intensive care, family practice offices and management of geriatric and I/DD healthcare facilities. Sherry started working with HRS, Inc as Clinical Director in 2015.
